In 1918, when Shivajinagar was still finding its feet, Hamza started a small eatery on H.K.P. Road. Word spread — about the ghee rice that glistened just right, the charcoal kebabs that regulars still queue for, the bheja fry that people drive across the city for. Distinctly Dakhni. Distinctly Hamza.
Four generations later, we're still here. The Russell Market vendors stop by for lunch. The Commercial Street shopkeepers send their staff. The late-night crowd knows we're the real thing when everything else closes.
